Disciple Now Weekends
Participating in D-Now weekends is one way HLGU students love to get involved and build relationships with teens in surrounding area churches. Churches usually supply their own material in advance, and our students will prepare to lead discussion before arrival. Typically a Friday evening through Sunday morning, the college students spend their weekend leading small groups, answering questions, playing sports, leading worship if requested, and most of all loving on the junior high and high school students while seeking to point them to Jesus. Bonds between these students can continue to grow long after this short, but valuable, time and provide a means for discipleship.
If you are interested in having a group of HLGU students come to your church to assist in a D-Now weekend, fill out this form. Questions? Contact Titus Vester.
